Is it contest week or what?
Posted by fred
Looks like it’s not only heardontv.com that has some stuff to give away Joe at I Am A TV Junkie is giving away his Fringe swag bag. Entering the contest is really easy: the first comment under this post with a valid email address after Fringe’s second episode begins Tuesday night at 8 pm (eastern time) wins.
Mark the day in your calendar, Tuesday night at 8pm. Be there.
(I wish I could enter the contest but Joe made it clear
“Not eligible if I regularly link to you or your site, or if you’re a personal friend, or if you’ve won something here before.”)
Music from Sarah Connor Chronicles Season Premiere
Posted by fred
Now watching the season two premiere of Sarah Connor Chronicles, it starts with a video montage and the song. If you’re wondering the song is Samson and Delilah, it’s a new version sung by Shirley Manson from Garbage (she appears in the episode too btw). You can here it from last.fm. It’s a very good version, you can learn a bit more about its history here. Hope it finds its way to iTunes.

No more little boxes in Weeds?
Posted by fred
I thought it was just a temporary thing, that the Little Boxes will come back, I liked all the different versions from the previous seasons, same song, different singer, everytime an original tone. But it looks like the Little Boxes are gone for good. Several blogs are reporting the end of the Little Boxes too, it started in episode 2 of season 4. The new thing is now to insert the Weeds title into one of the first scene item, a glass, a bottle, a match box, … Little Boxes, we’ll miss you…
Little boxes on the hillside,
Little boxes made of ticky-tacky,
Little boxes, little boxes,
Little boxes, all the same.
There’s a green one and a pink one
And a blue one and a yellow one
And they’re all made out of ticky-tacky
And they all look just the same.
French song on Gossip Girl season 2 preview
Posted by fred
Lately the CW has posted several videos announcing/teasing about the next season of its hit show Gossip Girl. You can watch the videos from our friends at tvchronik.com. Some of these feature a song in French from artist Plastic Bertrand Ca plane pour moi.
The original and remix versions are available on iTunes.
How did the CW end up picking this song? Hard to tell…
