Now watching the season two premiere of Sarah Connor Chronicles, it starts with a video montage and the song. If you’re wondering the song is Samson and Delilah, it’s a new version sung by Shirley Manson from Garbage (she appears in the episode too btw). You can here it from last.fm. It’s a very good version, you can learn a bit more about its history here. Hope it finds its way to iTunes.

I’m relaying the quest from a fellow blogger who is looking for a song heard in a recent BMW tv commercial.

If you know what this is, leave a comment!

I thought it was just a temporary thing, that the Little Boxes will come back, I liked all the different versions from the previous seasons, same song, different singer, everytime an original tone. But it looks like the Little Boxes are gone for good. Several blogs are reporting the end of the Little Boxes too, it started in episode 2 of season 4. The new thing is now to insert the Weeds title into one of the first scene item, a glass, a bottle, a match box, … Little Boxes, we’ll miss you…

Little boxes on the hillside,
Little boxes made of ticky-tacky,
Little boxes, little boxes,
Little boxes, all the same.
There’s a green one and a pink one
And a blue one and a yellow one
And they’re all made out of ticky-tacky
And they all look just the same.

From Wikipedia:

Flashpoint is a Canadian police drama television series that debuted on July 11, 2008, on CTV in Canada and CBS in the U.S. Sniper and Critical Incident were former working titles. The original 2007 pilot for the series was filmed using the Critical Incident title and Sniper was used when CTV originally announced the series in late December 2007.

Like other tv shows these days, each episode features one or more songs from mainstream or indie artists. In the recent First In Line episode, Precious Things from artist Jonathan Seet ended the episode. Jonathan was kind enough to answer some of our questions.
